Quote of the Week
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”

This Week's "Subconscious Success" Tip
If you enjoy goal setting, reflection, and "letting go" rituals during this time of the year, I got a good one for you that works directly with your subconscious mind!
It's called Tapas' Acupressure Technique ("TAT") - created by Licensed Acupuncturist, Tapas Fleming! It works by putting your attention on a series of powerful, healing statements while holding acupressure points on the body that open up your entire system to presence, love, healing, and more.
After working with thousands of people over decades with this process, Tapas found that it can clear and transform everything from limiting beliefs to general emotional distress to trauma responses and a variety of physical health challenges. My hypnosis teacher Melissa Tiers said it cured her cat allergy, helped her clients with food intolerances, and much more. Each time I've personally worked with it, I found myself experiencing a sense of wellbeing and peace.
Best part is...you don't have to believe it will work or try hard to make it work. In fact, you can include all of that into the process if you have doubts or are skeptical that anything can help with your issue or topic.
One of my goals this year is weight loss, and I'm planning on using this technique to help me along!
If you're a nerd like me and like to read success stories and research, check out the compilation on Tapas' website here!
How to Apply This Tip
The easiest way is to experience TAT!
Here is a short demo that you can follow along for free on Tapas' YouTube channel.
The entire full version of the process takes more like 30-45 mins to do, especially if you take the time to gather thoughts and write out positive statements.
You can find a collection of guided sessions here on Tapas' online membership, available at a very reasonable price (btw none of these are affiliate links, I just genuinely found value in investment in this myself).
In sum, this is what TAT entails:
Setting an intention for healing and safety
Putting what you'd like to transform or change into a metaphorical "pot"
Holding the various TAT process poses and putting your attention on a series of statements that help your system attune to presence, healing, and love.
Choosing positive outcomes and beliefs you'd like to see in your life.
Integrating everything from your session with additional postures and ending statements.
Results? A state of wellbeing, and perhaps a surprising transformation in whatever area of life you decided to work with. While more sessions may be required for additional changes and integrations, you may be surprised by the effectiveness of this easy process.
If you try this, be sure to follow Tapas' top tips while doing TAT. You can access them here along with the written overview of the process (search the words "quick reminders" on this page). Also remember it is not necessary or recommended to mentally re-experience past experiences in order for them to be healed. The intention for them to heal is enough.
Why It Works (The Short Version)
The acupressure points that are held during the process serve various purposes in helping the body relax and open up to a different way of thinking and being in the world. The statements act as a form of affirmations to acknowledge what is, focus on healing, forgiveness, and resolution, choose positive outcomes, and integrate learnings. Sometimes just giving attention to what we usually try to avoid or stuff down is enough for the consciousness to relax.
