This Week's "Subconscious Success" Tip
Let's dive back into exploring the dimensions of consciousness evolution that I learned from Connirae Andreas! Click here for a short recap if you need it. Also, see Connirae's video here for her take on these.
~
Today we're exploring Dimension #5 - Setting Outcomes!
There are 4 stages to this dimension:
Stage 1 - We have a problem, but we don't know what the outcome or solution could be.
~
Stage 2 - We set goals and outcomes with our conscious/thinking mind to resolve the problem, but we don't have an effective way of meeting those goals.
~
Stage 3 - We start using more effective methods to help us get what we want!
~
Stage 4 - We go beyond creating goals and outcomes for ourselves and allow our Wholeness to naturally and spontaneously show us the next steps. We do things because we get natural wisdom from our system about what's best for the Whole in that moment.
A lot of the goals we set in life have in some degree have to do with a strong desire for a certain outcome, which in turn often creates a strong aversion to the opposite outcome. This indicates that the system is still operating from various "parts" of ourselves that want different things vs. operating as one "undivided consciousness".
In this stage, we live from a state of "being-ness" and recognize that we are OK whether those goals are met or not.
This is my best contemplation of all of this, anyway.
How to Apply This Tip
Contemplate how you go about setting outcomes and goals in your life. Which stage to you mostly find yourself in, and in what contexts?
Here's my personal contemplation of these stages:
Going from Stage 1 to Stage 2 is as easy as declaring that you want to change something in your life, and you're ready to do something about it.
Let's take my example of growing a coaching business from scratch.
When I first got started, I already consciously set a lot of goals. My desired revenue, number of clients, etc.
For a long time, I was in Stage 2 of this dimension...following strategies that weren't that effective. I was applying my old strategies that brought me success in school and employment to try and succeed at entrepreneurship. Basically, I thought that the more I did the "right things" and worked until I was exhausted, the better my results would be.
I didn't even consider working with my subconscious mind until about 2 years into my entrepreneurship journey.
Then an old mentor of mine was talking about the whole "be-do-have" model. He was saying "the reason why people don't get what they want in life is because they're operating from a broken strategy where they think that they first have to have something so they can do and be what they want, not the other way around" (btw - That's quite a blanket statement, however, he has a point).
This is when I started exploring identity work and delving into who I was BEing in the world vs. just what I was DOing. This led me down rabbit holes of exploring my deeper purpose, values, and subconscious beliefs, which naturally transformed the actions I was taking in my business.
By using tools like hypnosis, NLP, etc. to help me transform fear, doubt, and low self worth, I was finally using more of the Stage 3 solutions that were actually creating results in my business. I was able to attract more clients and speak without choking up about my business. Score!
When I started studying with the Andreases and my spiritual teacher in the ways of Daoism, I've been able to explore some of the Stage 4 realm. The Core Transformation process that I specialize in naturally helps re-connect the various "parts" of ourselves back into our Wholeness, so that we can act more as an un-divided consciousness. Which each session, it allows me to experience in my system (not just in my logical brain) what living from a "being-ness" level is like.
I'm also now going through the Wholeness work training for the first time and starting to experience deeper integrations of the various aspects of my consciousness back into my Wholeness, and I'm noticing more lightness and ease in my days.
When I contemplate this through the Daoism lens, I see this is "wu wei" living, which is a concept of effortless action or non-doing. It's about living in harmony with nature.
I think by living in modern society, it can be tough to live "wu -wei" all the time. I suppose this is why some folks choose to live in monasteries and dramatically simplify their lives....so that they can to a large degree just follow their nature with each day.
However....that doesn't mean these concepts cannot be applied to some degree in our modern culture. They've been incredibly helpful for me in learning to live life with less force.
Why It Works (The Short Version)
As I eluded to earlier, as our consciousness evolves, we start to recognize that some strategies for meeting our goals and needs in life are not working.
Strategies that take a holistic approach and consider our identity and subconscious mind are typically missing pieces to one's success because they don't just focus on the DOing. They dig deeper to explore what's actually inspiring the DOing in the first place? (i.e. what subconscious programs are running the show without our awareness?)
After exploring these, we can start to take it a layer deeper and start to contemplate what drives our desire to have goals and outcomes in the first place...and uncover what our system as a Whole is guiding us to moment by moment.
Ready To Try It?
Think of a goal you want to achieve in life. What stage of this dimension of consciousness are you at when considering this outcome? If you haven't explored the deeper realms of stages 3 and 4 with it yet...what might that look like?
Another idea would be to book a Core Transformation session with me to explore these deeper stages! Click here to schedule a free discovery call with me to learn more about this.
