Quote of the Week
"Where you place your attention is where you place your energy. Once you fix your attention or your awareness or your mind on possibility, you place your energy there as well. As a result, you’re affecting matter with your attention or observation. The placebo effect is not fantasy, then; it’s quantum reality. "
-Dr. Joe Dispenza (From his book - "You Are the Placebo")🌼
This Week's "Subconscious Success" Tip
This week, let's continue exploring dimensions of consciousness evolution from my teacher, Connirae Andrea's, teachings.
Click here to see last week's dimension, "Directionalizing the unconscious", if you missed it.
The 2nd dimension of consciousness evolution: Going from external to internal and to inner essence.
There are 4 stages to this dimension:
Stage 1) We have a problem and believe nothing can be done about it. (Note: sometimes this is true...impossible to account for all scenarios in this short explanation)
~
Stage 2) We now believe change is possible, but it's going to take something external, outside of ourselves, to take care of this or "fix or save us". Here the "placebo effect" can be really helpful (e.g. sugar pills). (Note: As w/ Stage 1 thinking, sometimes this is also true. Consciousness evolves with being able to expand our perception of things.)
~
Stage 3) We get that "we are the placebo" because the placebo effect is being generated by our subconscious minds. We realize our inner thoughts and emotions impact our reality, and we can practice self healing.
~
Stage 4) We relax into a way of BEing where there is nothing to intentionally fix or heal and allow our bodies to naturally be in the state of healing. We flow with the mysterious unfolding of life and release the strain of needing to do. We experience the inner essence that's already healed and whole.
How to Apply This Tip
Consider this for yourself...what stage of this dimension do you find yourself in most of the time? And in what contexts?
If you're currently in a situation where you think no solution is possible or something externally has to happen in order for there to be a change...contemplate if that's fully true.
Ask yourself how it might be possible to change your perception of what's happening. Is there a way to direct your subconscious mind to a different focus? Is there a process you could utilize to gain new awareness? How might shifting your attitude towards this situation change your life?
And...if it's already easy for you to direct your subconscious mind to something like self-healing or a higher vibrational thought or feeling...what might it look like to relax into BEing and allowing life to unfold naturally? The metaphor that comes to me here is learning to flow like water and learning the ways of water, in general.
Why It Works (The Short Version)
Most of us are never taught about the power of our subconscious mind or encouraged to flow with life's unfolding.
Due to this, it makes sense that we either start with the belief that change isn't possible at all or that it's only possible if our external circumstances change due to forces outside of us. There are many religions that have folks focusing on diverting power and abilities to create change to a higher being.
While I'm not suggesting we have the power to control everything, I do believe we have more power than we think. Shifting our perception of what's possible can create instant results in our physical experience. What we focus on expands. To ignore the factor of our subconscious mind in pretty much any situation, in my opinion, would be a missed opportunity.
Personally I've gotten glimpses of Stage 4 so far, so I can't speak too much about this experience. However, think about it this way...what is the purpose of our consciousness? Is it to accomplish something or just to have an experience? I don't know the answer, but so much of the spiritual teachings focus on the BEing vs. the DOing aspect, which makes the focus of flow in this stage make sense to me.
Ready To Try It?
If you're interested in evolving your consciousness...
Reflect on which stage you mostly experience life from now, and consider what small steps you could take to live more from the higher stage. Perhaps in some areas of life you're able to live in higher stages more than others.

Transformational Coach & Mentor
P.S. The Core Transformation method I specialize in can help you much more easily operate from Stages 3 and 4 because 1) going through the process naturally results in a perspective shift and 2) the perspective shift happens because you're able to reach a state of BEing where nothing needs to be done or achieved. It's a fascinating experience that's been really helpful to my and my clients' developments.
Schedule a Core Transformation session with me, and I'd love to share this gift with you. To get started, just schedule a complimentary discovery call with me, and let's chat about how working together can help you transform on a deeper level.
