This Week's "Subconscious Success" Tip
This week, let's come back to exploring the topic of dimensions of consciousness that we started a few weeks ago!
Short recap: Per my teacher Connirae Andreas, there are universal stages of transformation that we go through as we grow and evolve. Just as we go from crawling to running, our consciousness also goes through an evolution. Through Connirae, I learned about the 7 dimensions of this consciousness evolution and am now excited to share more about them with you! See Connirae's video here for her take on these.
Here are the ones we discussed so far (click on each dimension to catch up if you missed it):
1) Dimension 1: From negative bias to positive and then to just experiencing all as is
2) Dimension 2: From external to internal and then to inner essence.
3) Dimension 3: From force to no force
Today let's dive into dimension 4 - Integration Types.
There are 4 stages here:
Stage 1) There's a problem, but it seems unsolvable.
~
Stage 2) A solution is offered as an "overlay" or redirection, but it doesn't transform the original source of the problem. It just creates a temporary experience where the problem is not accessed. Because the original problem state wasn't transformed, relapse possibility exists, and the system can't completely relax.
~
Stage 3) We experience partial integration. We can help various aspects/"parts" of ourselves work together more effectively, but we still experience them as being separate parts of ourselves.
~
Stage 4) We experience full integration by re-integrating our "problem states" back to our Wholeness as resources.
How to Apply This Tip
Consider this for yourself...what stage of this dimension do you find yourself in most of the time? And in what contexts?
Here's an example of how I've experienced these stages.
I used to compare myself to other coaches quite a bit when I first started out. There would be lots of thoughts like "they have something special that I don't" or "they're so much more likeable than me".
I applied A TON of Stage 2 type of solutions to help myself with this. I would write out negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones so I could start reframing my language. I'd take deep breaths to calm down my nervous system every time I would make a video about my coaching. I hyped myself up through somatic movement like dance and shaking to clear my mind of negative thoughts about myself.
In my experience, I had great results with these solutions temporarily. They'd usually give me the ability to shift into a positive state so I could be more successful with what I was doing. However, those doubtful thoughts kept coming back.
When I first intentionally started working directly with my subconscious with things like hypnosis, I experienced more of the Stage 3 solutions. I was able to see those aspects of myself in a different light and found that it was easier for me to automatically switch to self compassion when the doubt came in. It was an experience of there being parts of me that doubt myself and other parts of me that know my uniqueness has value.
After I started doing Core Transformation (CT) as my primary change work method, I was able to experience Level 4 integration. That's because with CT, we help our "parts" re-integrate back into the wholeness of our being by guiding them to re-access their natural Core States of beingness.
The more parts of myself I integrate back into my wholeness, the more I notice I'm able to experience ease in my life. I'm more easily able to make decisions that are best for me without experiencing as many internal conflicts.
With regards to my original issue of comparing myself, I notice that this has dramatically decreased. I'm now able to access a much deeper appreciation for my uniqueness and the knowing that I BElong.
Why It Works (The Short Version)
When we come into this world as babies, we have a sense of wholeness and a natural integration with all that is. We cannot tell the difference between ourselves and our caretakers, for example. It's all just kind of one experience.
As we develop, this changes and we develop a sense of self being separate from the world. We also start to develop different aspects of ourselves...like parts of ourselves that become concerned with safety, being accepted and loved, etc. These parts of ourselves become "disconnected" from our wholeness in our consciousness.
When we're able to re-integrate them back into our wholeness, we experience being more congruent as a whole person...not a makeup of different parts that all want different things. We have a deeper sense of connection to all that is and can have more compassion for others because we can recognize that all of those parts have a positive purpose for our wellbeing and wholeness.
Ready To Try It?
If you'd like to experience a deeper level of integration, I recommend trying a Core Transformation session. It's much easier to understand it more through experience. Click here to book a free discovery call with me if that's something you'd like to explore!
